Organic September is almost here! This is an important awareness month. It’s the perfect time to learn more about organic and the reasons to switch.
Choosing Organic products and produce is all about making simple swaps. It’s important to make choices that work for you and your lifestyle. If you’re going to struggle to go completely organic then just do what you can.
Whether it’s pledging to only buy organic groceries, or switching to organic cotton tampons (hint hint) a simple swap can make a difference.
The organic way
Here’s a quick rundown of the benefits of going organic. Starting with the environmental factor. Organic farming methods are better for wildlife compared to non-organic farming practice. Organic farming aims to preserve as much of nature as possible by limiting use of pesticides and insecticides. These chemical compounds kill endangered creatures like bees. Organic farming also produces less C02. This is important to consider when buying products to build a sustainable future for our planet.
To summarise the health benefits, organic products are sourced from trusted sources. Due to the difference in farming methods, organic products contain fewer pesticides, no artificial colours or preservatives.
