6 best pregnancy Instagram accounts to follow

Shadow of a pregnant woman standing against the night sky

Pregnant and looking for inspiration on Instagram? Look no further, our Social Content and Community Lead Alex has got it covered!

Do you create a new Pinterest board for every upcoming event? Then you’ll probably also be the type of person who wants to track down the best pregnancy Instagram accounts to follow the minute you discover you’re pregnant! I know I will be.

As a self-confessed social media junkie, I spend hours scrolling through Instagram. It’s well and truly surpassed Facebook as my favourite platform. Here, I’m sharing…

My top six pregnancy Instagram accounts to follow:

Ruth Crilly aka @modelrecommends

Ruth Crilly is a beauty blogger, model and mum of two. I first came across her YouTube channel ‘A Model Recommends’ in 2015 when she was pregnant with her first baby and have followed ever since. The reason I gravitate more towards her Instagram account these days is because I rarely find the time to sit and watch her videos. Thankfully, her Insta feed is the perfect quick fix of the latest beauty trends and tips.

We all know skin can be a rollercoaster during pregnancy. After hearing stories from friends and family about navigating through spots and dryness, I sometimes start to think that ‘pregnancy glow’ people speak of is a complete myth! But thanks to Ruth’s Instagram, she continuously recommends fantastic products and brands you can add to your skincare routine to help out.

Giovanna Fletcher @happymumhappybaby

Giovanna Fletcher is a Sunday Times No.1 bestselling author of ‘Happy Mum, Happy Baby: My Adventures into Motherhood’, but you may also know her from winning the title ‘Queen of the castle’ on I’m a Celebrity 2020. As well as having her own podcast, Youtube channel and blog, she is also the founder of @happymumhappybaby on Instagram (how does she find the time with three sons?!).

With over 90 thousand followers, you can expect to see posts covering all aspects of parenthood. Whether that’s the positives, negatives, tips and life hacks (yes please!) or you’re just in need of that extra little bit of motivation, you can expect to see it here.

Altogether she has created an online community where mothers can share their experiences and stories, making her one of my top recommendations!

Emma Ross @mamalinauk

If you’re looking for an account that’s all about sustainability when it comes to parenting, then you have to check out Emma Ross. The mother of 3 talks all things yoga, fashion, travel and life. The vegan recipes definitely don’t go amiss either!

We here at TOTM love her plastic free, zero waste and mindful approach to life. Parenthood isn’t easy, but even the slightest changes can make a huge difference. I started following her a couple of years back and have loved watching along as her sons have grown and I’m sure you will too!

Honestly Healthy aka @natashacorrett

Natasha is a top vegetarian chef, renowned for making healthy food that looks and tastes amazing. So, it’ll come as no surprise that her Insta feed is full of healthy pregnancy inspo, including meals, real talk and her must-have mum and baby products.

Mercedes Workman aka @openingpheramony

The reason I think Mercedes is a must-follow for pregnant women is her honest portrayal of motherhood, which doesn’t mask how hard the early years can be. Because let’s face it, there’s no point going into this journey expecting it to be all matching mum and baby outfits, and spotless nurseries.

Her zero fu*ks approach to sharing the realities of being a mum to twins, whilst juggling a jealous toddler is incredibly heart-warming. I have no doubt you’ll love Mercedes and her obsession with tie dye everything.

Keira O’Mara aka @mamadesigns

Undoubtedly, one of the best things about Instagram is shopping! I love supporting small businesses, especially ones set up by ‘mumtrepreneurs’. There are so many gorgeous baby Insta shops but one of my absolute faves is Mama Designs. Set up by Keira when she was on maternity leave over 10 years ago, they sell stylish and practical baby stuff. Follow @mamadesigns on Instagram for nursery inspiration, mama life and more.

I love discovering new pregnancy Instagram accounts for inspiration, tips and advice! If you do to please share your favourite accounts with us in the comments below or by tagging us on Instagram.
